FAQ
How do I play?
Complete squares by taking classes, going to events, playing outside, and other activities. All squares will be signed off by an a Ascent Coach
What does Class mean?
Empower, Team Training, Mobility & Recovery, Yoga, and Coaches Corner all count as classes
Can I double up squares? Yes. For example, you can attend a class, wear Ascent gear, and share a movement with a coach all at once.
What is a post-workout selfie and where do I share it? It’s a photo you take after a class, sometimes sweaty, sometimes not. Post it on your social media and tag us, or share it in the member app. You can combine this with dressing up for a themed workout.
What is alternative transportation?
Come to Ascent in a new way. Try carpooling, biking, walking, or using public transportation.
What is a movement goal?
This can be anything from hitting 8 classes a month, training for a hike, or reaching a 75 lb bench press. It’s something you want coaches to know so we can help guide you.
What are the themes for the themed workouts?
April 8: Spring Break – Bring anything but a waterbottle. Ideas: Pitcher, watering can, baby bottle, pyrex, dog bowl, sippy cup, measuring cup.
April 17: Showers and Flowers – Dress in florals! Wear flower socks, headbands, or dress with the essence of your favorite flower.
April 27: Step Ups + Summits – Dress Up like you’re going for a hike, long bike ride, kakying, rowing, gardening, climbing or whatever thing you like to do outside when the sun is out.
Share a movement win?
Throughout the month, share a movement win by adding it to the community board in the studio.

What is a movement consult?
Movement Consults are short, focused check-ins built into your membership to help you keep progressing and feeling good.
Each session is about 20 minutes. We’ll spend around 10 minutes on a movement screen to look at your current mobility, flexibility, and strength. This gives us a snapshot of how you’re moving right now and can help us spot what might be contributing to lingering aches, or where there’s room to build more support, stability, and strength.
From there, we’ll offer personalized recommendations you can actually use in class whether that’s adjusting your warm-ups, modifying movements, or progressing where you’re ready.
We’ll also take a few minutes to talk through your goals for the next 3–4 months so your training stays aligned with what matters to you. Think of it as an opportunity to add intention to your movement heading into the next season.
How to book:
- Join a scheduled Group Movement Check-In & Goals session on April 26 (link to event)
- Book a 1:1 at a time that works for you (link to my calendar)
- If you’re in Team Training, you can also connect with your coach about completing your check-in during a session
If you’re participating in Bingo, booking your consult this month is all you need to get your stamp.
Come as you are! This is just a chance to check in, get some direction, and keep moving forward with intention.
